By the year 2020, it is estimated that 350 million people will have access to virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR) technology. This projection constitute a market segment that would be worth roughly $120 billion.
As the rate of consumer demands continues to accelerate across the board, the fact of the matter is that today’s event attendee is no longer satisfied with just ‘content’. Instead, what they are looking for is the ‘experience’ that accompanies that content.
That means our methods for storytelling must be delivered in a much more powerful and highly compelling manner than ever before. With that in mind, it is no wonder that the adoption of VR/AR technology is projected to reach such levels.
