ILEA Live 2018 is only two months away!? Time flies when you’re counting down to Denver. In May, I shared five great places to check out in the city, and today I’m sharing another six. If you missed the first installment of Denver A-to-Z, check it out.
F – Flagship REI store
One of REI’s flagship stores is located on Platte Street in Denver, and there are plenty of classes, outings and events to take advantage of before and after ILEA Live. Classes include Rocky Mountain Backpacking, Introduction to Outdoor Photography and more. Check out all classes and events.

G – Go see the Dead Sea Scrolls
The Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit will be at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science during ILEA Live. Don’t miss your chance to see manuscripts that include the oldest known biblical documents. Learn more and buy tickets.

H – Hang out at Cherry Creek Shopping Center
If you’re looking for higher-end shopping (perhaps to purchase a new outfit for the Esprit Awards Gala?), head over to Cherry Creek Shopping Center. There are over 160 retailers, 40 of which are exclusive to the area, including Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Burberry, Neiman Marcus, Tory Burch and David Yurman.

I – Imagine life as a farmer
Denver’s Sunflower Ranch holds farm tours through the end of October. You can take hay rides and see a variety of farm animals for only $10 per adult — plus you get a complimentary handmade soap or lotion.
J – Jazz
Denver might not be as well-known for jazz as, say, New Orleans or Memphis, but there are plenty of great places around town to check out some great tunes. Here’s a list of the 15 best places to see jazz in Denver. And be sure to check out the energetic music stylings of the Jordan Kahn Orchestra at this year’s Esprit Awards Gala!

K – Kite flying at City Park
City Park is Denver’s premier regional park that includes the Denver Zoo, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and plenty of sports fields. There are also various events held there in the summer. Learn more.

Check back soon for the next installment of Denver A-to-Z!
